DESIGN ENGINEER

You will be working for Phoenix Technologies office located in Belval, Luxembourg, with the objective of developing the engineering capacities for iron and steel industry.

Your role

As Design Engineer you will lead the elaboration of models and drawings.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Support engineering for consultancy projects (this task is deployable, business trips abroad to be considered to ensure on-site technical assistance).
• Analyze the requirements and fulfilling objectives received from customers.
• Generate engineering deliverables such as sketches, drawings, and 3D models.
• Weekly and monthly reports.
• Ensuring/respecting a safe working environment according to customer regulation.

Your profile

General Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, industrial or maintenance engineering or equivalent education.
• Experience in iron and steel making engineering and/or complex infrastructure engineering.
• Understanding and working experience of engineering processes and the management of contractors in the field of engineering.
• Ability to work within and manage a team.

Specific Qualifications:

• Specialized knowledge engineering software
• Autocad
• 3D modelling software (inventor, solidworks, creo or equivalent)
• Plant building software (smartplan, aveva or equivalent)

Language qualifications:

• Advanced in English
• French or German speaking would be appreciated
